Dr. Manal Awad, Governor of Damietta, discussed the development plan for the Al-Ratmah fish farm during a meeting held today with officials from the Central Agency for Reconstruction, the authority responsible for implementation. vThe meeting addressed proposed execution methods to achieve comprehensive development. A plan was outlined to develop 272 feddans, divided into 20 fish farms as a first phase. This includes the construction of irrigation and drainage canals and gates, preparation of fishponds, installation of central pumping stations, and the establishment of a power station.
Dr. Manal Awad emphasized that the governorate is keen on setting a clear development plan to ensure the optimal utilization of the farm and to increase its production rates.
